More About Celia Tedde
Celia (she/her) is a passionate educator, singer, and musician based in New York City! She has taught students of all ages over the past 6 years through her personal voice studio and Acting Out voice studio in Brooklyn. She specializes in helping vocalists find healthy freedom in a wide range of styles through her gender-neutral and trauma-informed teaching practice. While her background is predominantly in musical theatre and classical voice, she teaches freedom first and foremost to provide a neutral foundation that works with all vocal styles! Outside of teaching, she is a working actress and has been performing in Off Broadway and Regional venues for the past 16 years. She also ran the National Auditions program at Oklahoma City University for 2.5 years and uses her intimate knowledge of the college auditions process to help her students prepare for auditions with material that feels authentic to them. In her free time, she loves listening to Joni Mitchell, crafting fun new recipes, and playing her bright blue guitar!
