Practical Ways to improve your acting career
Let's be real, your acting career will not change entirely overnight. Your artistic career is a many-years-in-the-making process.
But here are some practical ways to keep on top of that growing career:
Create an audition tracker. Track your auditions. Figure out what works and what doesn't. Track what you learn as well as the result of the audition so you can continue to learn from the art of auditioning!
2. Take the KO Consultations Self-tape and Virtual Auditions course. This course is designed to be a safe space to allow you to learn to audition confidently. Not to mention it focuses on your skills adhering to the current trend of self tapes and virtual auditions.
3. Find podcasts, books, or shows of artists that you admire! Getting inspired by incredible artists is a great way to encourage you as you pursue your career. One of my favorites is "Why not me?" By Mindy Kaling
4. Make sure your headshots, resume and reel are professional and up-to-date.
5. Find a community of artists to create with, even if it's just helping each other with self tape auditions! Having an encouraging tribe can make a huge difference in your career!
